Microneedling
Microneedling skin rejuvenation is a fast and effective way to rejuvenate, strengthen and improve skin. This method based on the ability to regenerate and self-repair the skin can significantly improve lines and facial wrinkles, remove pimples, acne, remove patches on the skin and exfoliate. This treatment is also suitable for people with sensitive skin. Microneedling creates small holes in the subcutaneous tissues to allow for faster and more effective treatment to deliver serum and nutrients to the skin. Microneedling is an excellent anti-aging method to rejuvenate, improve skin texture, brighten and hydrate the skin. This method is most commonly used to improve facial tissue such as around the eyes, hands and neck, and the patient will need 3 to 5 sessions of treatment within 2 weeks.
Benefits of Microneedling
The risk of skin blemishes and scars remaining in this procedure is much lower and therefore safe for people with darker skin.
This method is suitable for thin and sensitive skin.
This procedure is simple and well done in the clinic and because of its simplicity and ease, it does not require advanced equipment and professional training.
This procedure does not cause much pain and patients can easily tolerate it.
This method is very cost-effective and can also be used to treat facial wrinkles in areas of the face, such as around the eyes, which are not treated with peeling or laser skin rejuvenation.
Unlike laser skin peeling, the epidermis layer remains perfectly healthy and is not damaged, so it can be safely repeated if needed.
If applied to a specific area of the skin, (unlike some skin peeling techniques) it does not create a visible border between the treated area and the untreated area. Therefore, this procedure can be performed for limited areas where there is scarring and there is no need to attempt to blur the border between the treated and untreated areas.
Depending on the depth of needle penetration in the skin, the patient may resume his or her daily activities within a few days. However, in laser skin or dermabrasion procedures, the patient is prohibited from performing many daily activities for a long period after treatment.
What is the mechanism of the microneedling effect?
The microdeleting machine causes very small wounds on the skin, forcing the body to heal naturally. The resulting small wounds release cytokines and growth factors that eventually produce collagen and elastin. In general, the wound healing process is performed in three stages, which we will mention in the following sections:
Phase One: Inflammation, causing tiny holes in the skin to stimulate the immune system, prevent wound infection, eliminate waste, increase blood flow, and begin the process of producing new tissue.
Phase 2: Proliferation, new tissue is repaired temporarily with new cells, and elastin and type 1 collagen form a new blood cell network.
Phase 1: Skin Regeneration, New Skin Tissue, and Blood Vessels Replace Wounds Then Type 2 Collagen Replaces Type 1 Collagen, which Helps Form New Tissues, Finally Firming and Improving Skin
What to do after finishing microneedling?
After completing the microdeleting you should carefully observe the following:
Avoid exposure to sunlight
Avoid any sunscreen after you use micronidling to rejuvenate your skin, as there is a risk of toxins in these products. After treatment, all pores of the skin will completely open and the toxins found in other products and creams can be dangerous for you.
Do not use products that contain active ingredients
After treatment, avoid using products containing active ingredients, including alpha hydroxy acid, retinol and other similar compounds. After treatment the skin becomes extremely sensitive and these products will increase the inflammation and sensitivity of the skin.
Use collagen-stimulating peptides
Since microdialysis is known to stimulate collagen production, the skin needs more collagen than normal to fully heal. Collagen stimulates peptides that are effective in this process, which in turn increases collagen production.
Do not use cosmetics after treatment
You should allow your skin to breathe and heal for 3 hours after treatment. At this time, the skin canals are open and when you use cosmetics, these substances penetrate the skin and increase the inflammation. Applying a makeup brush after treatment will cause the skin to become infected and eventually infect. This should allow you to wait 2 to 3 hours after treatment and avoid makeup to allow enough time for the skin to heal.
Use a face cooling mask
After microdialysis your skin becomes red . Applying a cooling face mask can help reduce inflammation and redness of the skin and reduce the amount of pain.
Use antioxidant serum
Antioxidant serum has properties that help repair and improve the skin. This serum helps to improve skin softness and reduce inflammation.
Avoid sweating
When you sweat, the pores of the skin reopen and the bacteria that enter the skin enter the skin through tiny holes in the skin, which can cause a reaction and infection.
Drink water
You should drink plenty of water after treatment because drinking water will help speed up the healing and rejuvenation of the skin.
